U is for Understanding

Coastal Ward needs leaders that understand the community and what we have gone through.

I lost my business, lived in “as is” houses, my daughters school has been marked for closure, I have worked with vulnerable insurance clients to help them with their claims and I have had both my children injured by footpath accidents.

I have experience in geology, accounting, insurance, business ownership and raising a family in the area. My colleague Dean Lester has lived much of his life in the eastern suburbs and has worked tirelessly for the last 6 years helping locals recover, repair and rebuild their lives.

We both have a depth of understanding through experience that can bring valuable skills to the community board and council tables.
