Never before has voting been so important in our ward. There are a huge range of issues and decisions and we need competent leadership!
Extraordinary times call for extraordinary leadership. Six days after the February Earthquake I stood outside my business in North New Brighton and watched a man wash his dishes in the gutter.
In that moment I decided to do something to help, so I started and ran a welfare centre feeding up to 8000 a day. I received a Christchurch Earthquake Award for this.
I’m self-employed in the accounting field and have a Degree in Geology and Diploma in Ministry. This broad skill-set has enabled me to help with recovery issues like housing, flood zones and school changes.
Currently, I serve on the Boards of Rebuild Christchurch, Avondale School and the 100-Day Housing Group.
I want to ensure that the Council and Community Board work together for your best interests.
I am open, committed and available. I’m already working hard for you towards our ward’s repair and revival.
