Everyone who I speak to who lives in #coastalward tells me that they live there on purpose, they live there because of the awesome people and incredible natural assets.
The ward stretches along the coast from South Shore to the Waimakariri River and has beaches, rivers, forest, the estuary, wetlands, walking tracks, cycleways, surf., the pier… something for everyone to enjoy. And I think #coastalward is capable of ever greater greatness.
We have exciting opportunities in the coming months and years within the residential red zone, the regeneration plans for New Brighton and South New Brighton and the new Schools and Aquatic Facility being built at QE2, to name a few. Hands

Hands down however the greatest asset this area has are the people – passionate, loyal, fun loving, community-minded and great!
I love living here and I want to see Coastal reach even greater levels of greatness and I’m keen to help in that journey.
