We have an amazing opportunity to rebuild our side of town and to do it in a way that not only corrects the wrongs of the past but also embraces the future.
We need to be thinking environmentally sustainable, technologically appropriate and modern and accessible for all.
How often does a town get the chance to right the wrongs of the past, let’s make it a rebuild that city planners world wide would be envious of. #coastalward at its widest point is only about 2km from the sea and as citizens of this fragile planet we have both a global responsibility and a vested interest in reducing the environmental impact we have on the land, sea, air and water.
As our assets are rebuilt and future use decisions are made I want these values to be at the heart of decision-making.
