The biggest of the changes is that Coastal Ward now goes right up to the Waimakariri River, a narrow and truly coastal ward. To find out if you are in the Coastal Ward you can go to www.ccc.govt.nz/representation to search your address, or you can contact me with your address and I’ll let you know.

Coastal Ward includes South Shore, South Brighton, New Brighton, North New Brighton, North Beach, North Shore, Waimari Beach, Parklands, Queenspark East, Spencerville and Brooklands.

The new voting structure means you vote for one City Councillor (Dean Lester 😉 ) and up to two Community Board members (if you really want me to get in I suggest you simply tick just Andrea Cummings and leave your other vote blank), alongside your other votes for Mayor, ECan and CDHB
